I sometimes ask customers if they’d mind me taking photographs of my work as it progresses and when I’ve finished. Usually they’re happy to oblige, and the following pictures show just some of the jobs that I’ve done over the past few years (if you have a large screen, you can click on the small images to see larger ones).
Note the capillary groove cut into the right-hand piece of wood in the right-hand photograph. This level of attention to detail will help to prevent the new piece of wood from rotting like the original sill.
